CADAC 2012:
Vineyards: Vineyard located in Cap de Creus on slate soils, with great light exposure and influenced by the tramontada brought by the saline air from the Mediterranean.
Winery: Manual harvesting and alcoholic fermentation of each variety separately, respecting the needs and characteristics of one. It spends 12 months in barrels, and then continues with a long aging in the bottle, where it grows and evolves slowly, gaining in elegance and complexity.
Tasting and pairing notes: Garnet red wine with medium intensity. There are black and red fruits, spicy hints of pepper and vanilla, as well as some bay leaf and eucalyptus. On the palate it is powerful, persistent, with very well integrated and balanced tannins, with a dark chocolate finish. Perfect pairing with game meats, cured cheeses, raclette and dark chocolate coulant.
