MISTELA MF:

Vineyards: Vineyard located in Cap de Creus on slate soils, with great light exposure and influenced by the tramontada brought by the saline air from the Mediterranean.

Winery: Wine made with the Moscatel de Alejandría variety following the traditional method of the Empordà. The grapes are harvested overripe, by hand and in 10 kg boxes. It is then cold macerated in the same stainless steel tanks where it will ferment. Halfway through this process, brandy is added to stop fermentation and preserve the natural sugar of the grape.

Tasting and pairing notes: Amber wine with golden reflections, bright, with character and complexity. On the nose, it has aromas of bakery, honey, roses and raisins. On the palate it is dense and balanced, with notes of apricot, hay, hazelnut and almonds. It pairs with blue cheeses, foie, fine charcuterie, dark chocolate brownies and almond sweets.
