The origins

In 2000, the Martín Faixó family revived viticulture in the Cap de Creus Natural Park, committing to organic wine that respects the essence of the land. After four years of work, they hand-harvested the first grapes from these slate soils caressed by the sea breeze. In 2007, the first wines with Empordà Designation of Origin reached the market, capturing the wild and authentic spirit of a unique setting between Cadaqués and El Port de la Selva.

Perafita denomination

The Martín Faixó winery takes its name from Mas Perafita, a 14th-century farmhouse located between Cadaqués, Roses, and El Port de la Selva, restored by the family in 2003. This historic estate embodies the essence of Cap de Creus, where the vines grow shaped by the tramontana wind, slate soil, and Mediterranean influence, giving life to wines with character and authenticity.

Here, winemaking tradition merges with the family's gastronomic heritage, establishing Martín Faixó as a benchmark in wine tourism on the Costa Brava. With a strong commitment to quality and sustainability, each bottle captures the essence of an extraordinary landscape, turning every visit into a unique experience.

The tramontana wind and proximity to the Mediterranean define their identity, bringing freshness, structure, and a distinctive minerality.

With an annual production of 50,000 bottles, the winery upholds a strong commitment to sustainability and minimal intervention, prioritizing environmentally respectful viticulture.
